Taylor Redd

Is a momprenuer of two who decided to take an idea of owning her own liquor brand and turn it into her reality.  A majority of her life, she has always worked in a law firm – with two Law degrees under her belt, she knew she would be the best Attorney the world had to offer.  That all changed when she moved to Charlotte, NC and became a bartender to make ends meet.  Being behind the bar, was second nature and she didn’t have to work as hard to make a dollar – in fact, it was pretty easy to make a drink and socialize with people she didn’t even know.  A year later, she created “Your Favorite Bartender” as a business model that would allow her to step away from the night life work and be apart of more intimate setting events.  Now known as “Pour Mixology” (Cocktail Catering) – Taylor took additional steps to become a Certified Mixologist.  She used the same discipline from law school to dive deep and really study the science of mixing drinks and creating a atmosphere for all guest’s.

In 2017 when her grandmother passed, right before Taylor’s birthday – Taylor knew she had to and wanted to create a brand around her grandmother’s legacy and what she meant to Taylor.  October 2017 Taylor took her first steps to creating “Redd Rose” Vodka.  Redd Rose is a strawberry lemon flavored vodka that is so smooth and flavorful it can be sipped over ice – no chaser or mixer.  She wanted to create a drink that reminded her of her grandmother and who she was:

• Kind: Smooth

• Compassionate: Flavored

• Hustler: Straight (over ice)

Selling her first bottle in January of 2020, this journey was not easy but Taylor has the genetic tenacity of her grandmother whose own entrepreneurial story during segregation was ground breaking.  Redd Rose Vodka is just one of the nine flavors Taylor prepares to create.  Knowing her grandmother is there with her every step of the way “Redd Rose” is going to take over!
